Terms & Conditions

• Your credit card will be billed immediately upon the completion of your order. Once we receive and an authorization we will send you a confirmation email. You will ONLY receive confirmation if your credit card is successfully billed. You will notice a credit card charge on your statement from Excel Long-Range Sportfishing.
• Gratuities, Rental Tackle, Terminal Tackle, Mexican Excursion Permits and Mexican Visa's are not included.
• All passengers will be required to have a Passport or Valid Government issued photo ID.
• Passports are mandatory for ALL trips.
• The minimum deposit for any trip up to 10 days long is $500. For trips that are 11 days or longer the minimum deposit is $1000. Deposits for all trip more than a year in advance are $500.
• Boarding order and room assignments will be based on the initial deposit date. In the case of private charters, charter master may elect to assign rooms and boarding orders.
• All fares are based on double occupancy. When available and requested, additional charges may apply for private staterooms, plus staterooms 15 and 18.
• To compensate for any last minute cancellations, we reserve the right to overbook by one reservation on ALL trips.
• For ALL Trips 50% of the trip cost is due 180 days prior to trip's departure date.
• Payment in full is due 60 days before the date of departure.
• If 50% is not received at least 180 days prior to the trip, boarding order and state room assignment is subject to change and spot may be subject to sale.
• Payments will be charged to credit cards on file in the date structured noted above unless we are notified of another means of payment by email.
• Due to increased costs at all levels within the industry, all credit card transactions will be subject to a 3.5% service fee applicable at the time of transaction. The service fee can be avoided by contacting the office advising a check will be sent in lieu of the credit card payment.
• Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE unless written notice of cancellation is received by postmarked mail or fax 180 days prior to the trip's departure. E-mail cancellations will NOT be accepted.
• Passenger cancellations within 120 days of departure date will result in a minimum 10% administrative fee based on the full price of the trip. The remaining amount will be retained by Excel and used for a deposit on a trip departing within 365 days of the original trip’s departure date. If the deposit(including any additional payments) has not been used after the 365-day period has lapsed it is forfeited.
• Passenger cancellations within 90 days of the trip's departure will result in forfeiture of all deposits and payments unless your vacant spot is booked and the trip runs full.
• Passenger cancellations for any reason within 60 days will result in forfeiture of all deposits and payments.
• All passenger cancellations are subject to a 10% administrative fee based on the total cost of the trip.
• No refunds, credits, roll overs or adjustments of any kind will occur until the trip the deposit was originally made for has departed. Funds/transfers from trip cancellations can only be applied twice. If a transfer occurs a third time the funds are forfeit.
• Trip cancellations that occur before the above terms and conditions will be assessed on a case by case basis.

• Illegal drugs, firearms, or explosives of any kind are not allowed. We reserve the right to refuse passage to any person that appears to be under the influence of drugs or excessive amounts of alcohol. Passengers and their belongings are subject to search before boarding the boat.
• It is Illegal to sell sport caught fish in California. We will assist in the prosecution of anyone involved in these matters.
• Payments will be charged to credit cards on file in the date structured noted above unless we are notified of another means of payment by email.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
• Floating deposits will be valid for two calendar years from the date of the original trip departure. Then will null and void.
• By booking a trip you have agreed to these terms and conditions
• If the cost of Marine Diesel rises above normal operating levels, a fuel surcharge might be imposed.
• Terms and Conditions are subject to change.
• By placing a deposit on any trip you are acknowledging and agreeing to all of the Excels Terms and Conditions.
